ACTIVITIES

In research, procedures are discussed through conference calls (5 in 2018), leaded by Dr E. DELMONT.

A 10 000-euro prize is awarded to interns in order to promote research.

Teaching and post-graduate training lead to a structured interuniversity degree of the peripheral nerve system pathologies. This program is under the aegis of D. ADAMS.

Collaboration is key to progress in pathologies of the peripheral nerve system.

Presentations of diagnostical situations allow to discuss complex cases (4 GEN meetings per year, under the guidance of T. MAISONOBE, J.P. CAMDESSANCHE, C. GUIRAUD-CHAUMEIL) ; clincial data pooling has been made possible by the development of an electronic file by J.C. ANTOINE.

Exchanges, discussions and training are taken care of during the annual congress of the society. Next edition will take place at Maison de la Chimie on February 7 and 8, 2020.

This meeting brings together 300 professionals and allows exchanges between researchers and clinicians.

On an international scale: joint meetings with the Italian Peripheral Nerve Society and the British Peripheral Nerve Society; participation to the Peripheral Nerve Society committee and scientific meetings.

SFNP members also PNS members are D. ADAMS et E. DELMONT.
